Sculpture: 'Pegasus (Carved Wood Half Man and Horse Yard statue)' by AD Treepirate
A Great Oak trunk, with approx. 300 year old donor tree, with added head front legs and multi-piece wings. 100% Oak with stainless steel fixings. In Greek mythology, Pegasus was a winged horse sired by Poseidon, in his role as horse-god, and foaled by the Gorgon Medusa. He was the brother of Chrysaor, born at a single birthing.
A good publicly accessible example of our unique ability as a sculpture team to bring the mythical into reality.
