Profile image of Nicholas B. DaddazioDaddazio`s subject and sculptural niche since 1992 has been and continues to be necktie sculpture (Contemporary Urban Primitive Art) in both bronze and mixed-media. Sculpture description:
Tie Geisha epitomizes the traditional icons of both Japanese and Western cultures: the Geisha and the Necktie. Both are imaginatively inter-related and captured in solid art bronze sculpture: the face is drawn from the knot; the wig is created from the inside parts of the knot; the obi, arm, sleeve, shaft of the umbrella, and the umbrella, are sculpted from the back of the necktie; and, the kimono is shaped from the front of the necktie. All colors follow tradition: a white face; a black wig; a red umbrella; a gold obi; and, a black kimono with white bottom. There is no other bronze sculpture in the world like Tie Geisha.
