Sculpture: 'Leaf Maze (Stylised Large Skeleton Fretted statue)' by Philip Thompson
Bronze Outsize Fretted Leaf Skeleton unique sculpture statue Low Relief for sale for Outside outdoors Exterior Use or as in the Oak Table Inset into Wood By the accomplished Artist Sculptor Philip Thompson I Is set on a Steel Plinth sculptures / statues / Focal Point / Garden Ornament For Sale for Outside Outdoors Exterior in the Garden the Yard, Estate or Park, by the very versatile Philip Thompson.
I was moved and inspired by the Ghostly Skeleton of a Leaf found in the winter forest. Its Delicate Matrix, a Map of the passing seasons, a symbol of nature`s endless cycle of birth, death and then rebirth. Bronze now traces the intricate maze as a symbol of the fragile strength of the natural world. Subtle and simple, but as the light plays on the sculpture it takes on a mystical quality.
