Profile image of Hans GrootswagersIn his work, Hans Grootswagers translates the non mundane into the identifiable. Reality and fiction are interwoven to subsequently merge in ways not always readily perceivable. Mass and volume are allocated new dimensions that consistently present a challenge making for extraordinary sculptures with as source of inspiration abstractions from the world of emotions. This preference for suggested "spatiality and volumes" is expressed not only in his sculptures but also in his wearable gold and silver objects.

Sculpture description:
A three figure sculpture group with 100cm height bronze figures on a 115cm height stand of coated steel with a top of natural stone. This brilliant combination of a modern take of the ancient Egyptian deities is good example of the combination of the power and the lightness of touch that Hans Grootswagers invests in his sculptures. You can see that they will be equally at home in the Garden at the office or terrazzo. See Also his other bronze sculptures.. Horus Grande, the Ship of Dreams, the Ship of Hope, Together, Watch Over You.
Artist's comments:
"Together they form the key to success The figure with the head of the bull stands for power and perseverance, the one with the head of an falcon represents efficiency and sureness and the one with the owl characterizes strategy and wisdom.".

Customer comment on 'Running Hare (Small bronze spring Mad March statuettes/sculptures)' by Lucy Kinsella
Thank you again for your wonderful and professional assistance throughout. I am so enjoying my "Running Hare"....I call her Lucy. I received a lovely email from Lucy (Lucy Kinsella the Sculptress) earlier this week and the Running Hare (www.artparks.co.uk/s1104) is now safely in my possession. As I told Lucy, the piece is more beautiful and delicate than I had been expecting. She is very special..

Thank you so much for the part you played in bringing us t... [Read more]
