Post Modern Minimalist Steel Small Abstract Table Sculpture - representing the petrification of molten elements, Brilliantly Interpreted by Philip Melling, who welcome suggestions of Commissions or Customized Variations
Artist's comments:
The sculpture represents layers of molten earth that have built up over time, the once liquid form evident but now frozen.
Developing the sculpture I concentrated on the proccess of using repetitive form of material - flat steel bar, to generate concepts and capture the movement of elemental reactions.
The sculpture can be sized to fit any space.
All Basilisk sculptures are based on the same concept, but vary in form to make them unique pieces
