A substantial brick head, solid and commanding. No fuss, no glamour just bare brick, eyes closed inward looking and calm.

The observer (Head 7) looks inward to a world where everyday obervations are given thought and consideration. A contemplative sculpture which has presence both in size and stature.

Although it seemed a daunting project to commission a sculpture on the internet with a tight deadline, Plamen Dimitrov in Bulgaria made it as easy as possible for me in Brazil by producing a series of little clay sketches after each email and sending photos it seemed by return.
