Nicholas first picked up a hammer and chisel with the intension of creating a sculpture in 1987`and has been carving one or more pieces of sculpture ever since and does not look like he is going to stop.
Nick was working as a stonecladder on a major building project in Berkley Square...

Sculpture description:
Given free reign over the subjectivity of the piece by the Client, Nick was asked to encapsulate the Clients primary nature into the stone... Beautifully cut in Blaxter Sandstone this piece is ripe with colliding figurative detail all woven together seamlessly to create a iconic Totem rich in fine carving with a tightly balanced composition.
Artist's comments:
Mark loved it as it was unflinching in personalised detail. An biopic in sculpture baring hallmarks of both personalities.
