Sculpture description:
A sculpture in cast stone of polo ponies and their riders.
Artist's comments:
The idea for this small sculpture came from a rather dynamic photograph of Prince Charles in the forefront of a tight melee of polo ponies and their riders playing polo. The massing of the bodies of the group of polo ponies and their riders, contrasted with the tangle of swinging polo sticks and horses legs. I made several drawings but then realized that this had to become a sculpture. It is now in a private American collection.

Customer comment on 'Sidewind 2 (Bronze abstract Figures in wind statue)' by Plamen Dimitrov
Dear Peter

Just to say how thrilled and delighted we are with our recent sculpture purchased through Art Parks online – “When I Saw You” by Kay Singla (a truly gifted artist and wonderful person).

Once again, our buying experience has been absolutely first class – both in our dealings with you and Sarah at Art Parks and with the individual sculptors directly.

As you may remember, we have previously bought sculptures via your website ... [Read more]
