Sculpture description:
This is quite a unique interpretation of a mother and child, in that it focuses mainly on their faces as they are lovely looking at each other. The baby`s hands are reaching for the mothers face in a sense of exploration. The water around them has gentle ripples, which shows the serenity of the moment.
Artist's comments:
I have tried to capture a special moment, a mother and child peacefully looking at each other. Being a mother myself, I know this to be a most wonderful and intimate time. Mother and child is a subject matter that delights me. This sculpture was made in clay and cast into bronze using the lost wax method.

Customer comment on 'Dog Fox' by Tessa Hayward
Dear Peter, Enclosed is photo of my lovely fox, placed into an area which I`m developing as a small bluebell and white birch woodland. I`m absolutely delighted with the sculpture! Would you please pass a copy on to Tessa (Hayward), with my thanks and very best wishes. Jenny
