Anna completed a BA in English and History at Concordia University in Montreal in 2005. During her studies, she became interested in historic architecture and sought to combine this passion with a practical trade.

Superb Hand Carved Stone Panel of Fabric Drapery in Caen Stone for Outdoors Outside in the Garden statue for Commission A Unique study in stone of a Towel arranged over a board. by the Brilliant Anna Rubincam, whose Skill with carving that most difficult of subjects Fabric, Drapery or Flimsy Cloth Material is well known.
I designed this study in order to become familiar with the anatomy of drapery. The shapes of the folds vary little from a simply study to a more complex arrangement, and many sculptors attempt similar studies in preparation for larger projects. It shows the effect of gravity on the cloth, as well as the interaction between the surface and the lower folds.
