Sculpture description:
Small or Little bronze Coloured Nude Naked Woman or Girl statues or sculptures or statuettes or ornaments or figurine for sale for Indoors Inside Interiors on Desktop or Table Top By Ann Seifert.

Description
Although this Naked Woman sometimes feels the weight of the world on her shoulders, she has the gift of wings. Fully extended and powerful, they can take her wherever she desires.

She maintains a careful balance of humbled power. She holds herself open to the spirit and invites it to flow through her into the world and remains content in her anonymity.

This thought provoking piece is supplied in agift box and comes complete with a hand signed certificate of authenticity.
Artist's comments:
"The slight movement of a shoulder, up or over, a change in the tilt of a head, an adjustment of the torso, or legs, to accentuate or relieve tension. We are complex emotional creatures and our body language reflects this."

Ann Seifert has been sculpting since 1986. She has worked under two mentors: Janet Lederman and Loet Vanderveen, providing her with an education in sculpting technique, perspective, and design spanning more than 20 years. In 1999, after years of work and study, she produced her first limited edition bronze sculpture, "A Moment of Grace", the first of many figurative designs. In 2001 she also introduced a new line of animal sculpture. Her portfolio of animal and figurative sculpture designs continues to grow and her work is on display in collector`s homes around the world.

"The problem of contemporary sculpture and the garden is one which has rankled in my mind for years. It is usually resolved through a process of inversion-that is turning it into sculpture in the garden as against garden sculpture. By that I mean the sculptor takes over the garden as an open exhibition gallery, of which the focus is their creation, to which the world of nature merely provides the frame. The Idea that sculpture is a contributory element to an overall'mise en scene',in which, sometimes its role may be incedental rather than central, has been lost.In this we have seen the betrayall of the great tradition of garden sculpture, one which was unashamed at being decorative or delightful."

Customer comment on 'When I saw you (Woman In Hat Head Bust statue sculpture)' by Kay Singla
Dear Peter

Just to say how thrilled and delighted we are with our recent sculpture purchased through Art Parks online – “When I Saw You” by Kay Singla (a truly gifted artist and wonderful person).

Once again, our buying experience has been absolutely first class – both in our dealings with you and Sarah at Art Parks and with the individual sculptors directly.

As you may remember, we have previously bought sculptures via your website ... [Read more]
