Sculpture description:
A huge carved cedar totem pole sited by the lake in Stewarts Park, Middlesbrough. It is loosely based on a fragment of an original pole thought to depict the story of a lost infant boy who was later found living with wolves.

Artist's comments:
This sculpture was part of a residency to celebrate the parks recent redevelopment. During the residency I made a series of large scale carvings and constructions based on Cook`s voyages. Cook`s birthplace was within the grounds of the park.
