Profile image of Sara Ingleby-MacKenzieSara Ingleby-Mackenzie trained under Ken Hughes, a pupil of Henry Moore, at Bath Academy of Art. There she achieved a first class honours degree in Sculpture and was awarded the Henry Moore Foundation Scholarship.
Working in a variety of scales commissions have ranged from public art to smaller domestic pieces.
Currently she is creating a series of light hearted bronzes loosely based on love, life and fashion

A little bronze sculpture depicting a young girl reading.
Artist's comments:
This little girl has is reading a large book or magazine, she sits on a wedge shaped plinth which symbolises an open book.

The sculpture is coloured blue to give the feeling of calm concentration.
