Dying Ibex has 2 inspirations: the famous Roman stone carving called "Dying Gaul", and Timothy`s personal experiences as a big game hunter. Since he had done so much exploring birthing themes in my many other works, it seemed only natural to take a look at the other side of that coin. This is flesh and blood animal transitioning back into spirit; as he breathes his last.
