Sculpture description:
Rare Glass Spear of a Chieftan sculpture statue Objet d`art for sale by the Award Winning sculptor Ron Seivertson who writes...
"Glass Spear with hand flaked tip created in one hot sequence".
Artist's comments:
AS far as we know these are the only spears of the kind created in this manner in all of glass making history. Each spear takes four accomplished glass blowers with four additional assistants handling furnace doors, torching the works and performing other needed duties while the shafts grow off the work pipes.

The last part of the process is two shafts are joined to make one spear then it is quickly put in the annealing oven for cooling down. They are incredibly difficult to make, yet super satisfying when they succeed.

Customer comment on 'Solitaire I (Bronze nude Naked Sitting Girl statue)' by J Anne Butler
Dear Anne, Ray and Peter,

Solitaire finally just arrived to me: it is magnificent! Thank you very much to Anne for this work of art of a rare sensibility. The patina is wonderful! And the base mounted on ball bearing is very ingenious!

I made her breathe the air of the garden after such a long journey she wanted to recover a beauty!

In any case, thank you Anne and Ray for this extraordinary packaging thanks to which it arrived at goo... [Read more]
