The artwork of M.C.CAROLYN includes a wide range of visual statements about the human condition. She began as the youngest person to be allowed into the nude model drawing classes at the San Francisco Museum of Art. Human forms took life in stone as she taught herself to carve. The continued correspondence between MCC and Isamu Noguchi supported her desire to create stone environments that pulled the viewer around and across her sculpture. Sculpture: 'And Still A Woman - Breast Cancer Survivor, standing female sculpture' by M.C. Carolyn
She is a Breast Cancer Survivor. She stands tall holding her head safely with her arms. M.C.CAROLYN has created this limestone sculpture in support of all victims of this disease. This limestone is a favorite of traditional carvers because of its soft flesh-like shadows and texture. She is placed on a white travertine base so that she stands tall to look in the viewer’s face.
M.C.CAROLYN knows women who are Breast Cancer Survivors. Her own Mother did not survive Cancer. This carved stone sculpture is a tribute to all those women who were able to protect their most precious life energy … their ability to guide their thoughts into positive, curative areas. This woman is shown guarding her head while other portions of her body have been removed. She is definitely Still A Woman.

Hi Peter, I am so delighted with Equilibrium, I have a collection of over 20 original paintings; but this is my first sculpture, and it pleases me more than most of my art. Please pass my thanks to Liliya, (Liliya Pobornikova in Spain) me and my friends really admire her work. And although I cannot afford the £xxxx for her Rainbow 1, I would love to own it, and would be happy to pay £xxxx. Thank you to you too Peter, especially for bearing me in mind, but also for q...
