Sculpture description:
Bronze Life Size Pair of Rutting Red Deer Stags sculptures / statues FOR SALE for Outside Outdoors Exterior display in the Garden, the Estate, Moor or yard by the Master of Wild Life David Cemmick who describes it; "One of the most breathtaking spectacles in the British Wildlife calendar is the Red Deer Rut. Stags come down from the hills to Strut and Posture to hold a group of Hinds which only come into season for a few hours each year. If a Stag can see off a rival with its roar or the strength of its presence this will save vital energy. All his strength is needed to mate with as many hinds as possible and thus continue his male line into the next generation. Head to head battles are best avoided. They can be long and exhausting, even fatal, but when they do occur they show the true Spirit of Wilderness and power that the hill Stags of the Scottish glens have come to symbolize. This Life Sized Bronze sculpture is based on the hill Stags of the Ardfin estate, Isle of Jura, Scotland.
