Sculpture description:
Small bronze sculpture of a juvenile Indian Rhinoceros for sale by Wildlife Sculptor Ernst Paulduro. The artist creates "life-like" sculptures and naturalistic portraits and describes: “This sculpture represents a portrait of juvenile Indian Rhinoceros “ALBRECHT”. It was the first captive breeding of this species at Tiergarten Nürnberg in 1999. “ALBRECHT” was named after Albrecht Dürer, the famous German painter, who in 1515 made a first wood engraving of an Indian Rhinoceros just after a verbal record”.
Artist's comments:
I first saw “ALBRECHT” when he was at the age of about 10 weeks. His primeval habitus, the numerous skin folds together with the structure of his skin, thrilled me to create a portrait of this fascinating animal and also to preserve his appearance as a baby rhino.
Since 2001 “ALBRECHT” is living at the zoo of Lisieux, France.

The artist creates "life-like" sculptures and animal portraits.
The naturalistic depiction of animals as a bronze work has been practiced by August Gaul, Joseph Pallenberg and Reinhard Dachlauer. With my extremely detailed representation my sculptures are a complete reorientation as I describe them as hyperrealistic sculptures in bronze.
