Sculpture description:
David is a sculptor based in Sussex in the UK and creates cold cast bronze countryside relief sculptures inspired by the beautiful animals that live around his studio. This leaping fox relief began as a clay sculpture before being moulded and cast using real bronze powder. Being real bronze David was able to create the deep blue patina commonly found on old bronze statues. The final stage was to polish the plaque to bring out the shine of the metal. The overall effect is dazzling and the piece has a real aged, antique feel.

The fox wall sculpture is extremely strong, waterproof and frost proof. There is a plastic hook embedded in the back for safe mounting. This fox sculpture is perfect for the garden or home and makes an excellent gift for a nature lover.
Artist's comments:
This fox has a real energy about him as he leaps up and onto something in the barley field, perhaps hunting or just playing. The blue patina is genuine oxidation of the metal and I am really pleased with the result after much experimentation!
