| Abu Jafar is an acclaimed leading International artist and Philosopher of the arts. Since 1991 he lives and work in United Kingdom. Born on March 21, 1968 in a small village called Jhilna, Patuakhali, Bangladesh. He studied fine arts, painting and drawing at the Institute of Fine Arts, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh 1984/89, Master Drawing of the human figure at the Guildhall University, London 1989/90, Art and Art History at the Goldsmith’s College, University of London 1991/92 and Philosophy of Arts at the Open University, 1997 UK. In 2007 Become an Associates Member of the Royal British Society of Sculptors and 2009 become a Member of The Arts Club, London UK. Last 27 years Jafar has exhibited internationally and in the UK. | Heather Jacsch, born in 1948, studied fine art at Walthamstow and Goldsmiths College, London. Her passion for horses led her to Wales where she spent several reclusive years breeding Welsh cobs and establishing herself as a successful painter. This period which she describes as her apprenticeship. Jansch's work has gained international recognition and many admirers. It is in numerous private collections around the world. | ||||||||||||||||

| Natural leaf carving is actual manual cutting and removal of a leaf`s surface to produce an art work on a leaf. The process of carving is performed by artists using tools to carefully the surface without cutting or removing the veins. The veins add detail into the subject matter of the carving. The material or most common leaf used in leaf carving is the leaf of a Chinar tree. The Chinar tree is native to India, Pakistan and China.
