Description: "River" was commissioned by Blackburn and Darwen Borough Council for the entrance to the new Darwen Leisure Centre. "Pools" of specially designed glass are inlaid into limestone gritsone boulders and blue painted "rivulets" lead to the "river" of blue tarmac.
